haha. loads and loads of stuff has happened over the past few days. so busy at it too. looks like im not missing out on much. even though my first week of holidays has been so packed. i wish the rest of the holidays would be juz as eventful and fun as the past three or four days have been. so much so much has happened. so many thoughts and gd feelings have raced past my mind. too bad couldnt pen them down. since by the time i reach home im so tired that i juz plonk on my bed and sleep. heh.
it started with thurs. it brought with it a certain amount of promise. and it sure did fulfill it. after the drain of lessons. interclass semifinals. vs 4K. i agree with many. that even though we're not that gd. we still manage to win matches. dun ask me why. it juz happens. the match alone provided so much drama to fill many many pages. and til now it remains clear in my mind. it was a breeze at the start. i slotted home a penalty after a handball. den things started to go wrong. they 'scored' from a corner. the ball din go in. timmo was standing in front of the post and the ball went in front of him and across the post. but they gave it to them. and juz like that. our lead was cancelled out. we were on the backfoot and finished the half 1-1.
after the second half started. they had a neat one-two and spilt our defence and put one in btw our keeper. after that things got really heated and stuff. some gd opportunities courtesy of long high balls that they were unable to cope with. a disallowed goal after my run from the halfway line nearly paid dividends. poor finish lar. tough work. soon after got the equalizer though. another long ball. confusion den the ball popped out. i slid and swung my foot. i din see anything after that. except celebration. amazingly. we had equalized. we created much more after that. and only if wee chin was there with us. he would have a feast. oh well. no more goals. 2-2. extra time also goalless. though i had a shot or two. den drama. penalties.
the first four from each side took and scored. i was no.3 for our side. den misses. each one brought more heartbeats den the prev ones. esp for them. since they took first. but our takers were unable to take advantage of the misses. the keepers were in fine form too. esp theirs. a reflex punch from david's penalty. scary stuff. oh well. when takers could be repeated. theirs missed and i juz rammed mine in. lucky i guess. but we're in the finals. thats all that matters.
that was only soccer. after soccer. went to watch nemo. it was super duper cute ok. shant elaborate on it juz in case ppl havent watched it yet. but its really nice=). go catch it. i found nemo. u should too=). after that went for worship. at church. it was nice and enlightening at the same time lar i guess. we need a revival. somehow reminded me of communism and how they needed constant revolution in order to maintain how they lived. but i guess christian revival is very much different and more powerful. people praying for 10 hours straight? through the night? for months? powerful stories. i really sang with my heart that night. i was so tired when i got home. but i truly enjoyed the worship. more den anything else that day. really love it.
friday was just plain soccer after the lessons. soccer in church. really fun. although it started very late. muz go and play more soccer. more soccer more fun. keep fit too. and thin=). oh well. soccer rocks!.
